Testimonials

Dr. H
Brian and his team have been instrumental in the continued successful recovery of our son (B). The team is “hands -on”,caring, and insightful in guiding young adults through the Recovery process. B had several prior relapses because, in large part, of post Rehab support teams that just let him slip between the cracks and not be attentive to the warning signs of relapse. Brian put together a team which was both supporting yet vigilant for B’s continued personal and spiritual growth. They carefully yet lovingly monitored him giving additional support at times of personal duress. B learned to turn to them both day or night knowing that they would be there for him and that he could rely on their advice. We learned the same. One can’t value the personal relief that parent’s can feel when they know that that their child is being guided properly, carefully, and lovingly–It simply breathes new life into a world of prior despair. We learned that recovery is not simply 30 days in a Rehab Center, but instead truly dependent on who guides the person back into a successful sober way of living—The Team is the secret to success–AND THIS TEAM IS TRULY THE BEST!!!

Sincerely,
Dr. H–(Medical Doctor)

As a mother of a son whom has had a dual diagnosis meaning he had ADHD and anxiety which led him to use drugs and become addicted by the age of 16 life was nothing if not chaotic and scary.  My son was in the emergency ward twice and at a few rehabs before a close friend told us about her daughters experience with the wonderful therapist and q great case management team which my family was lucky enough to obtain.  We are so great full!!!!  Brian is dedicated, caring and professional and I thank god we found him!!!  My son has blossomed under his loving guidance.  He now has 4 years of sobriety, is back at school and is a responsible member of society!!!  Thank you for helping my son become a man with a life!!!

Sincerely,
Sue
Case Management Client
As a parent who live several hundred  miles from my family member who is John’s client, it has been comforting to know that I can call on John and his Case management team whenever there is a crisis large or small. They are very knowledgeable of and well plugged  into the community  and its  resources.  One  phone call to them and they are able to provide the necessary and appropriate referrals required to solve any issues encountered. These case managers are very high level professionals and have offered peace of mind to me and my family, in a way acting as family to us and creating a home away from home situation for our loved one.”

Several years ago, my son and I learned of John’s services.  My son was struggling with a variety of issues – anxiety, depression, among other diagnosis.  Besides his counselor, he needed someone to help him work through everyday life events.  How to proceed with seeking employment, how to apply for school, where to seek housing – this is just an example of some of the help John provided. These are tasks that many of us deal with without any difficulty.  But when health issues get in your way of proceeding, having someone to lean on for guidance is a tremendous help.  While we continue to utilize John’s services, with John’s help, my son is navigating life more and more on his own.  Medicine and counseling are important as one works through health issues, but Puls services is the glue that ties it all together to allow your family member to progress.  I can not express how much this service has helped not only my son, but my piece of mind knowing that he has another person in his life who ‘has his back’, is there when and if he needs assistance.  I recommend the service strongly if our circumstances speaks to your situation.  John is compassionate and kind and sets the standard for honesty and integrity.  Don’t hesitate to utilize his services.

Brian has been treating our sons now for almost 1 ½ years and it has been a blessing. His very structured approach and his involving the whole family in joint sessions have been truly helpful in restoring communication lines within our family. His deep insights into the complex aspects of addiction have been invaluable. What impressed me most was Brian’s “non-theoretical” approach. Practical tools and procedures are key to long-term success in my view. Recovery Management Services also provides case managers which we found helpful as well. Overall Brian’s ongoing interaction with our sons has made a big difference in their sobriety and we are extremely grateful to both for their work and help during this very difficult period for our family.

Sincerely,
Adrian

I have known Brian since early 2014.  In a nutshell, he saved my daughter’s life.  He has an uncanny ability to quickly understand what makes a person tick.  He works tirelessly with his clients and their families, supportive but when needed can provide constructive challenge.  This has helped me to learn how I can help her and not be co-dependent.  It was a huge learning and something I personally work on every day. He is also very culturally sensitive, embracing other beliefs and practices to better understand how he plays a role in his client’s recovery but how it fits into the family unit.  He took on my daughter but got the whole family in the bargain!  If you are in recovery, thinking of being in recovery or just coming out of recovery, Brian is the right person to see you through it and support your family as well.  I have to admit I felt at a loss when my daughter left treatment.  Did she have the right support system, was she safe, was she doing what she needed to do to stay sober?  These questions plagued me night and day.  This is where Recovery Management Services came in.  They basically provide the client and the family a safety net.  Regular testing, counseling, follow up at home is so important given the client is leaving a very controlled environment.  The freedom is new again and it is easy to revert to old bad habits.  I knew that if I was worried, I had someone who could check on her. The peace of mind that provides cannot be measured; I firmly believe that Recovery Management Services increases the possibility of a successful recovery.

Brian Pagan has helped me greatly in my journey to sobriety. Understanding and compassionate about recovery and the struggles it entails, and using various exercises and assignments, he helped me not only discover a better way to live, but also a better way to view myself. From the start of our work together, Brian was patient while I went through the many phases of my recovery. From random outbursts and displays of emotion to medical issues, he was always patient and willing to take on the challenges I faced. In my adjustment from treatment to independent living, we worked on the many skills it would take to live in the outside world effectively, and in doing so he helped me create a better life for myself. I would highly recommend Brian to anybody whether in recovery of substance abuse, facing the challenges of grieving, trauma, or just have a desire to improve yourself through life skills and different styles of therapy.

I was  a client of Brian’s for 3 years. I am so grateful for him. Having challenges throughout life, working with Brian has been life changing. He has encouraged me to heal at my own pace and guide me through the highs and lows. Through my experience working with him, I have learned how to redevelop my first responses to healthy ones and most importantly in my case forgiveness.  His knowledge in his field is superb. He is trustworthy and professional. His office feels very cozy and safe.  An all around “AMAZING” human being I highly recommend him for individual, marriage counseling and/or recovery therapy.

Brian has been able to establish an open communication and a healthy rapport with our daughter. We are happy that we’ve found someone that she’s been willing to see regularly. He has a jovial demeanor with an ability to connect with youngsters. He clearly has the knowledge and experience to handle challenging cases. As parents, we are happy to say that Brian has thoroughly reviewed our case, reaching out to other professionals our daughter has seen to fully acquaint himself of our situation. He’s been very receptive, and clear in action steps to take. We highly recommend him as a passionate professional in his field of expertise. We are very grateful that our daughter can benefit from his guidance”.
